During his last military assignment, he integrated many of the skills that he acquired across a 35-year military career to design and implement a comprehensive medical information processing system. This project not only saved the Army an unknown amount of resources but, more importantly, helped ensure that injured Reserve Component Soldiers were able to continue to receive the care they needed once they returned home.
Holding several advanced degrees, he has taught healthcare administration, anatomy & physiology, medical ethics, and hospital finance in the college setting and now once again has returned to the classroom as an adjunct Emergency Medical Services instructor. With well over 20 years of teaching experience, Max brings a high level of passion to every class he leads.
Today, he continues to pursue this passion by sharing his wealth of specialized knowledge with the students of every class he teaches. His sees teaching as an opportunity to help others“learn so as to serve.” Max has chosen this path as it allows him to spend his time with those dedicated individuals who want to learn how to save lives.
